With the
deregulation of the Canadian telecommunication industry, Symphony
Telecom, a B2B telecom solutions provider dedicated to delivering the
full power of the next-generation global network to the desktops of its
valued customers, wanted to build a sales and marketing capability. In
the words of the Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing:
My mandate
is to recruit and train a force of at least 40 top producing sales
executives representing the best talent in the industry.
LSM Consulting was
selected to partner with Symphony to recruit and build, on a timely
basis, a “top producing” sales and marketing capability in a
very fast moving and extremely competitive market. LSM met the
challenge by hiring for the following positions:
Working from Toronto, we
successfully identified “top producers” for the GTA, southern Ontario,
Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver.
Understanding that
Symphony needed to go to the market quickly and effectively, we put
together a dedicated high-energy focused search team to deliver
Symphony’s needs. The team met with Symphony executives on a weekly
basis to review progress and priorities in the rapidly changing
telecommunications marketplace. At the end of the project the Senior
Vice President, Sales and Marketing, recognized the LSM search team at a
special company event and thanked us for building a competent,
motivated, successful sales team.
