First, in each
assignment we identify and review qualified candidates for the position.
Finding individuals who are well qualified and prepared to consider a
change in employment is the prime objective of our assignments. We believe
this is best accomplished through research and direct sourcing, except
under special circumstances when advertising might be the only alternative
or if a public announcement is required.
Next, we invite the most
promising candidates in for an interview. We assess their background,
experience, potential and chemistry to fit well within your
organization. We also determine if they want the job and why. Their
reasons are an important part of our evaluation.
After we have interviewed and assessed the candidates, we prepare
interview notes to accompany the best candidates' resumes which include
the persons' present position, mandate, reporting relationships,
supervisory responsibility, education, accomplishments, previous work
history, compensation and interest in pursuing the opportunity. We then
discuss our findings, and together with our client decide on the details
for presentation and client interviews. We make our assessments as
objectively as we can, bringing up any concerns the candidate may have
about the position and letting you know their expectations.
In the next
step, intensive discussions are conducted on the relative strengths of the
candidates. Detailed reference checks on the finalists are carried out. Of
course, the final appointment decision is always the client's. Given that
an offer is no guarantee that the selected candidate will accept it, we
now use our diplomacy and negotiation experience to work with you to
facilitate a positive response.
We accept the
responsibility to manage the entire recruitment process on your behalf, in
order to ensure that no one's time is wasted and both sides are aware of
the other's needs and expectations. As we progress through an assignment,
all candidates, regardless of source, are integrated into the search
process and are evaluated in the same focus by us to maintain continuity
and objectivity.
